My current car is a 2016 Mini Cooper. It is air conditioned and is equipped with airbags, EBA, ABS, and He-Man Dual Controls. The Mini is a great car to learn in, its easy to drive, smooth and comfortable, and according to those young enough to understand such things, its cool!
A close encounter with the Sussex Air Ambulance in Dorking. On a Pass Plus session, my pupil Jess and I came across a nasty accident. Jess, as a qualified first aider was keen to help and did a great job looking after the driver while I helped look after the cyclist. This was a great learning experience for Jess; anyone who has done the theory test will know that there are a lot of questions on first aid and what to do at the scene of an accident. A short video has been produced to advise people how to deal with emergency vehicles on the road (but not helicopters!!); to view the video, click here.
